No speedometer, gas gauge, heater blower do not work and heater doesn't get hot. Dash lights and radio work.

Hi,

I feel we may have a couple of different issues. By chance, did this happen at the same time? Since the gauges and speedo are not working, I suspect there could be an issue with the cluster itself. So, the first thing I suggest is doing a basic test, but it does require a scan tool.

If you look at pic 1, it shows the diagnostics. If the test indicates failure in one or more of the areas, let me know which one so I can identify the next steps.

As far as the blower motor for the HVAC, I need to know if the blower motor works at any speed. Also, there is a fusible link behind the battery which powers the driver for the blower motor. We need to confirm that is working. See pic 2.

A fusible link is basically a fuse in wire form. It looks like a wire but will blow just like a fuse if too much power is drawn. I need you to locate that wire and check if power is making it through it.

Pic 2 shows the fusible link I'm referring to.

Check these things and let me know what you find. Please let me know if you have other questions. I realize this isn't the easiest thing to do.

Take care,
Joe
