We replaced (both) fuel sending units? We also replaced the gas cap. Initially the check engine light went off and fuel gauge seemed to work. However, filling the tank to half full everything seemed well. Then gas gauge seemed to be accurate until over half tankful. Check engine light came back on, but not the low gas warning sign. Help?

Hello,

The first Direct Trouble Code (DTC) P2068 is for fuel level sensor b circuit high input. This sensor monitors the level of fuel in the fuel tank so the Power-train Control Module (PCM) can use this information for how and when to operate the Evaporative Emission system (EVAP). If this sensor and the fuel line sensor voltages do not match up, this DTC will set. I have included factory troubleshooting flowchart for you to go to in the diagrams down below. Please go through the flowchart and get back to us with what you find out. The second DTC P2A04 is incorrect. DTC's are arranged with a letter then a 4 digit number. Please double check the second DTC and get back to us with what it is.

Thanks,
Alex
