Fuel pump keeps shutting off

The fuel pump either comes on or does not. I wait then it will start then while driving it shuts off. I wait try it a few times listening for fuel pump to come on it does then will shut back off.

Check fuel pressure with a gauge. auto parts rent it. pump may be bad and drawing too many amps. See link.
