We filled the car with petrol bp ultimate from half a tank almost straight away the car started missing and jolting between 40 and 80 km. When it's missing and jolting it feels like it's starved for petrol.
It is idling okay.

I would get a fuel sample from your vehicle in a clear container. More than likely it will be contaminated. Sometimes fuel stations’ tanks will take on water after it rains. This is a good place to start anyways.
