My van used to have a reading of 13L/100 but now it reads 17L/100 and it is has a bad fuel consumption. My question is how do I reset the fuel economy? Thanks, and hoping for your most appreciated reply.

Hello,

There are multiple factors why you might be getting poor fuel economy.
This can range from dirty components to outside factors like the weather.
It can be due to a dirty air filter, or mass air flow sensor. Worn spark plugs. Malfunctioning oxygen sensor. It can also be impacted by getting poor quality fuel.

Many times, performing an engine tune can restore performance and fuel economy.

Take a look at this helpful guide:

Is you check engine light illuminated on the dash? If you have faulty emission components like an oxygen sensor, it can impact the air fuel ratio and that can reduce fuel economy.

Are you having any drivability issues? Like rough idle or any other issues?

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.
