Good day, my seat recliner isn't working properly. I was wondering what car has the same or similar seat recliner, so I can replace it with it perhaps. Because I can't find a secondhand seat recliner that works properly. Please.

Can you let us know what part of the recliner is not working? Is it the handle or the lever inside the seat back that is not working?

It looks like 1982-1988 was the same. However, I don't think they changed the body style until the 1990s but the seats appear to have changed.

What I would suggest is start contacting salvage yards and find a vehicle that has been totaled. More than likely the seats are still find and you can just replace the entire seat for not much money.

Then if you want to remove the recliner then you can or just swap the seat.

I attached the part info below for the entire seat, but I don't think you need that. Just in case someone else does it is included.

Hopefully this helps get you closer to the solution.

Hi Kasekenny1, no I made a mistake it's a 1994' Nissan Sentra 1.6 Auto. Most Nissan Sentra around that time right front seat recliners in the inside. The teeth inside doesn't lock in properly to lock it in the position you want. So, I was wondering isn't there is another vehicle accept from Nissan's front seat recliners that is working the same way and is about the same please.

Oh. I see.

So, I am sure there are other vehicles, but we don't have a way to cross reference something like that. What I would do is stick with any of the 1990s Sentra vehicles. You are going to be pretty safe with any of them.

Even if they are slightly different you are still going to be able to use basically any seat as the seat tracks are going to be the same.

So again, I would look for the entire seat because you will be able to find those faster than just this part of it.

Hi Kasekenny1,

My cousin has a Nissan np200 diesel bakkie and it cut off all the time. He even needs a quick start to start it after it was switched off. A diesel mechanic told me that the injector pump needs to be adjusted up a little bit. Can you perhaps tell me where I should find the injector pump? And where can I find the setter or if it needs bleeding maybe or how it should be done, please?

Regards,
Azeret Barendse
