2002 Nissan Sentra Repair Question

Gas pedal
Every now and then after a quick acceloration after i take my foot completely off the gas pedal the pedal will stick any ideas?

Accelerator electronic so no cable to stick. Nissan has had trouble with floor mat getting in pedal travel and sticking. If not that would contact dealer for a fix or may end up like Toyota and fly down road at 110 mph

the accelorator does have a cable its not electronic and it only gets stuck in the up position so there is not gas getting dumpped into the cylinders

it becomes hard to push the gas pedal
