Water pump

I am trying to replace the water pump on aford windstar 1999 3.08 motor with 105750 milles on it.I have all the screws out but I am having problem with the small hose on top I cant pull it off. Can you tell me if I have to raise the motor to pull the pump out.

Well if your talking about the bypass hose, cut it and get anew one. As for the room, you should be able to tell that, but if all bolts aree out, and other pulleys are not in the way I'd say no. If other pulleys or mounts are in the way you gotta choose wheather to remove em or jack the motor!
