Hello, I have a 95 ford windstar and it runs fine. But sometimes it shuts off unexpectedly while driving in hot weather. What do you think the problem might be?

Has the check engine light come on? Have you checked fuel pump pressure? HAs it ever overheated? Does it start right back up?

The check engine light does come on but that was never an issue to me. And I haven't checked the fuel pump. It never overheated. And it starts right back up.

If it starts right back up, have the computer scanned. If the check engine light is on, there will be a code stored in the computer. It will help identify where the problem is coming from.

Let me know what you find.

Joe
