Brakes problem
1989 Ford Thunderbird 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 89.000 miles

My 1989 Ford Thunderbird has had an ongoing problem with the brake pedal going to the floor and the brakes not working until the pedal is pumped back up again. After the Ford dealership replaced the pads and roters, the problem went away for about 6 months. I had to take it in twice for this procedure. Both times, the results were the same--good brakes for about 6 months, then one day: NO BRAKES! I'm wondering if there's a problem with the master cylinder. Honestly, I'm grasping for straws.

Sounds like a master cylinder internal leak error.

Try having the vehicle off and pumping the heck out of them till its hard then push down with about 100-200 pounds of force and hold it, if pedal slowly goes down the mc is leaking!
