I have a 94 ford taurus with around 97,000 on it. Out of nowhere one morning the car wouldn't crank. We attempted to jump the car, and it started just fine. We let it run for about 25 minutes then turned it off and back on again, still no crank. You can hear it click when you turn the key, and all the lights turn on, wipers work, ect. We replaced the battery anyways. It still doesn't crank but will start off a jump. I'm not so sure where to go next with this. Any opinions?

It really sounds like a bad connection to me. Reason why I say this is if your jumping it and it starts you war clamping cables down on your battery and it starts. You are clamping against the terminals and it starts. Did you put in a new battery or used? Check all you connections pos + and neg - ones at the solinoid also make sure your battery is good also. Does the solinoid buzz when you try to start it with out a jump? Is that is another sign of a bad battery or a very week one. (NOS )
