I have a 1996 Ford Taurus with about 110,000 miles. This morning it started fine then when I was leaving later on it would not even turn over. I can hear a slight clicking from the engine, the solenoid maybe? I tried jumping it but nothing. Any help would be appreciated.

Charge the battery, clean the connections and check the serpentine belt condition and tension. Most large auto parts chains will charge and test the battery free of charge. No pun intended. :)

Good luck and let us know. :

Thanks for the help, after a little more proding around I found it was a bad starter motor, got it fixed in no time with a replacement. It works but I am $350 lighter now! :D
