I have a 92 Taurus, The M.I.L. Light stays on all the time the Engine runs. The Engine has got to the point it will die at different times. Some times when it quits running it will not start until the M.I.L lightcomes back on some tiimes I may have to turn the igniition switch off and on 10 -15 times before the Mil light will come on agaig. However when the M.I.L. Light comes on then the fuel pump will cut on and the engine will start. I havwe installed a new igniition switch and a E.G.R valve and a new Fuel Pump. I am Stuck onthis one.

First thing is to go get yourself a code reader for your car which has capability to read Ford eec4, obdI system. They cost around 30 bucks. Learn to use it, simple, and then you can get the codes from your system, which will give you a place to start looking for answers, your problems may or may not be related. There is a module on the rad sight shield that has relays for the pump and others, it is controlled by the pcm, I'm assuming since you haven't mentioned any codes, you didn't have that done yet, you need to do that. Don't replace parts in a shot-in-the-dark manner, wastes money and time
