It wont turn over-Do you mean when you turn key to start the starter is not cranking over the engine or it cranks over and refuse to start.

Explain it to me, maybe I can help.

I am haveing the same problem. Was driving down the road and the motor just turned off! Still had all power but would not crank over. Got pulled to my daughter's house and just a couple of hours later I got in and it started right up! Started the next morning, drove home, unloaded the camping gear and got in about an hour and a half later and will not turn over. Still have all power but will not turn over.

1996 Taurus GL 3.0 with 206,000 miles. This car has been running real well, no oil usage to speak of, good milage. A real good car up unitl this point. I had the same problem with a 92 taurus also? Any help?

TO: All

Okay-Find the starter relay on it, you'll see the positive battery cable on the big terminals. Find the S terminal on the small ones-get a jumper wire hook it on the S and the other end to the batt. Terminal coming from the battery, did the starter turn over?

I need to know, before I continue also you can have someone turn key to start positon and look for power at the S terminal- No power there we have to take it all the way back to the ignition switch thru NSS>
