My car has recently started making a revving sound when I'm driving. It intermittently turns on and off. There is also a clicking sound that accompanies it. Also, I just filled up my windshield washer fluid but nothing comes out. It makes the noise like it is putting fluid out though.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Is the revving sound possibly the cooling fan? Check the fans by letting it build temp and wait for the noise to happen. Walk around to the front (or pop the hood) and listen to the fan. Post back what you find and we'll go from there.

Thank you so much for your suggestion. My husband actually took the car in. It turned out that the compressor was the problem.

I really appreciate your willingness to help me.
