Our ambient/night time dashboard lights haven't been working. Every other dash light works, and every other ambient light works too. (i.e. cruise control lights on steering wheel, etc.)
We've checked fuses, and they are all okay. Today, I removed dashboard and looked at lights and they were all okay, none appeared burned out. What are some things that I might need to check that could keep me from going to car mechanic?

Thank you.

So is this fixed by replacing the entire light switch on dash? or is this fixed some other way?

Remember that all lights work except the ambient/night time lights on dash. The dimmer switch works fine on all lights, except the dashboard lights.

The light switch Ford sells are a unit. At switch check dark blue?white wire with lights on any voltage? if no then switch is faulty.
