I just had my oil changed and before I took it in I had a little trouble with thecar cutting off sometimes when I would slow down. However after they changed the oil, and air filter, the car cuts off every time I slow down. I changed the spark plugs and the fuel filter. It is idling much better now, and cuts off or comes to cutting off sometimes still. What elese could be the problem.
Thanks, Tonya

Hello,

You might want to have a look at the mass airflow sensor. If it gets dirty many times you will have idling issue as low speed.
When the MAF is in operation intake air from the engine passes through it which has impurities which are not removed by the air filter such as heavy air practical's. Over time these impurities cause a condition called "coking" which develops on the sensor "hotwire" which inhibits the sensor's ability to send accurate feedback data to the computer which can cause low power, low idle, hesitation and even stalling.
The MAF sensor can be cleaned out. And a lot of times cleaning out the sensor will improve drivability.

I have attached the MAF diagram for your reference.

Please let me know of any questions.

Thank you.
