Hi,

I got an oil change 4days ago and I just drove my care 5mins from home to work and realized when I parked that the fan belt was still running. Now it has been doing so for nearly an hour. I have not had any problems with the car and have had regular maintenance.

Ginlee,

Your fans aren't driven by the belt system, thus you don't have a fan belt. They are run off electrical motors. I am assuming that you meant the fans are still running even when the key is out of the ignition. I am at the right direction?

For the moment, pull these two relays out while I dig a little deeper.

Rather than pulling the two relays, pull this fuse.

That fuse controls both relays and both fans.

OK. One maybe both of the relays is/are bad. Put the fuse back in, and pull low speed fan relay. Your fans should be off now. Insert the relay back on. If the fans turn on, the relay is bad.
