My service check engine light started flashing and then stayed on. Last Friday I had my car in to replace the camshaft sensor and it seemed to be fine until today. The car had been sluggish until the sensor was replaced then, today is started acting sluggish again. Do you think that may be the sensor that was replace was a bad one or is there something else that would make the light come on.

When the same symptoms return after a repair, there is always the possibility that the replacement part may have failed. BUT.....why???

Start by finding out if the same trouble code has returned. If so, a bit of diagnostics are in order. There is usually a reason for a new replacement part to fail. A spot in the harness may have rubbed through causing the failure, or there could be a mechanicil problem causing stress on the failed part.
