I am hearing a grinding noise when I go around a curve, not really when I make a turn. I am wondering if it is the CV joint? How do I check to see if this is the problem? Also is this an easy enough fix that a novice can take and do?

Thank you in advance for your help.

I have looked at the CV joint boot and there are no rips or tears in it. I also don't see any grease around any other parts. Could it be wheel bearings? Or any thing else?
