First of all, where is the oil comming from? Where did the knocking noise come from.

And how long were you driving it like that?

As long as it cranks I would like you to perform a few cranking pressure tests and record what you find when you post back.

Trying to figure out what is wrong.

Turning over means the vehicle starts, does your vehicle crank a.K.A attempt to turn over or does it sit there and click, or nothing happens.

I would check checking for dirty or corroded terminals and charge the battery for starters.

Then I would try 12v direct on the starter, I have a feeling its jammed in the wheel or someting bad has happened in the resepects of the starter and flywheel.

Deffinetely would take off the oil pan and see what can be seen, sounds like a blown piston ring or maybe somethign worse.

Watchout for falling parts.

Take pictures if you can inside of it.
