WON'T START 1994 Ford Ranger - V6 - 5 SPD

FOR THE LAST THREE WEEKS - I HAD DIFFICULTY GETTING IT STARTED - I COULD REPEATEDLY TURN THE IGNITION & IT WOULD EVENTUALLY START.
NOW, IT WON'T START UNLESS I JUMP IT.

COULD IT BE THE STARTER OR CELLINOID?

Sounds as if the battry took a beating with the excess cranking. Give it a charge, clean and tighten the connections, and check the serpentine belt for it's condition and tension.
