Hello all and thanks for taking the time ot answer a few questions.

94 ford ranger 125k miles 2wd 4 banger 4/speed

I was jumped stated my other car with my ranger and when I went to move it, it would not start, I used starting fuild and it would fire off of that but would not keep running. I guessing filter or pump, neither has been changed in the 40k 4 years that I have owned it, I had my son move the key back and forth from the stop to start and couldn't hear the fuel pump engage but I never heard it before (never listen for it either).

my question is this the right path to go or am I missing somthing please advise thanks again

Sir

Make sure your battery is good/tight-Turn key to On position-do you hear the fuel pump for a few secs-if not check for power on its connector and comeback.
