2007 Ford Ranger Hesitation low and mid RPM

Im getting this problem 2 months ago The air filter was clooged replaced it but to no avail put new plugs in platinum bosch problem got worse added fuel injector cleaner to no avail check engine does come on any hints? Are the wires shot?
