2003 Ford Ranger 6 cyl Automatic

My husband has a 2003 Ford Ranger that will not start and makes a fast clicking sound when trying to start it. We replaced the battery and the starter to no avail. Any suggestions. Everything else we checked seems to be in good condition.

Well I guess this was something very simple after all. We changed the battery terminals because they were very corroded and wala it magically works now. Thanks for all of your help.
