Engine Performance problem
2002 Ford Ranger 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Truck starts fine when we try to accelerate to go above 27 mph it starts to spit and sputter

Check for tune up
check fuel pressure
check exhaust back pressure and catalytic converter
check PCM for codes

The truck is not reading any faulty codes. It Idles fine but when you give it gas it pulsates and wont get any power

Would the fuel pump cause it to have a perfect pulsate when you give it gas?

CHECK FUEL PRESSURE
check exhaust system and catalytic converter disconnect MAF sensor and check
