Personally I would be looking else where if the truck has unusual noises like this, I would be very cautious indeed as you may be in for a considerable repair bill, a noise like this must be heard first hand, as a diagnosis is near on impossible with out actually hearing it, regardless, I would not even consider a purchase if there was any such noise, if you are intent on buying the car, you should really have the car tested and inspected by a qualified mechanic first, a $50 or so bill to get this done may save you thousands in the future.
