My 98 ranger's ac seem to not produce effectively at low speed once I pull from complete stop seem ths once the transmissiom has shifted it doesn' want to kick back on, must rmp motor to force it to kick back on. ( Think something to do with the computor)

Hi lillieIII,

When the compressor cuts off and does not reengage, test for battery voltage at the compressor clutch wire. If power is not available, then we need to back track to the relay or computer. If power is available, then the compressor clutch is weak and does not have the power to reengage. It could be the clutch clearance is excessive.
