1997 Ford Ranger V6 Front Wheel Drive Automatic 135000 miles

The truck stalls out when I stop the vehicle, like at traffic lights. If I put it in neutral & tap the gas, it will not cut off. Is this a tune up issue of something worse?

It can be several things, but yes it is time for a tune up, if it has never been done before then morethen likely yes.

Be sure to clean all sensors and the throttle body.
