1995 Ford Ranger 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

Everyone is telling me that $791.37 is way to much to pay for a fuel pump in my 1995 Ranger XLT. It has 180,000 miles. I started to go to this mechanic 14 months ago and I have replaced Motor Mounts, Starter, Ignition, Clutch and Master Cylinder (those last two cost me $1,100 total) and something else I don't remember. I must have spent over $4,000 so far. Am I getting the shaft? I am a single, 53yr woman.

Yeah that sounds a little high, but I always tell people, get yourself second and third opinions, dont worry about making someone feel bad, this is alot of money and times are hard, you need to find the best deal possible, keep me posted. And if you need advice let me know
