Engine will not start?

1994 Ford Ranger 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

It will not start engine will crank. I hold the key on start engine turns over but will not fire, had the computer and dist. Replaced about 2 years ago, is doing the same it did then, could the computer be at fault again, it is geting gas
