Ford Probe stalls on highway

My 1994 probe GT has 105,000 miles. A couple days ago I filled up the tank from almost totally empty and since then have noticed the following problem. The day after filling the tank the car died at 65 mph. The tach dropped to zero and I coasted to a stop. I attempted to start the engine and it cranked over roughly but would not start. After about 15 minutes I tried again and it started. I drove about a mile to the next exit at 55 or so and the car ran fine. I drove home on the surface streets and the car also ran fine. The next day. I drove through town most of the way to work then got on the freeway and it died 3 miles later at my exit. It started up immediately and I again drove the surface streets without failure. On the way home it was fine on the surface streets but died after 5 miles on the freeway and then once a mile till I got off and then it worked flawlessly all the way home on the side streets. The thing has never stalled at less than 65 and seems to have taken a disliking to high speed driving. It never had this problem before I filled up the other day? The fuel filter was replaced at 38,000 miles and I'm wondering if the timing of this is just a coincidence or if I coulda gotten a tank of contaminated fuel?

Probably bad gas. Might want to check for clogging on the fuel filter and also the tank pick up sock.

Also do a fuel pressure check to rule out the fuel pump.
