1993 Ford Probe 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic unknow miles

I recently acquired a 1993 ford probe Gt 2.5l v6, the car sat for 2 years at a buddies house, he drove it for a week in dec 07 and then it sat again until I bought it which was in febn of 08. The car ran rough and idled low, it has a used engine so I don't know the exact milage on it. I put in a new batt, plugs and wires, and a new dist cap and rotor, and now I have no spark, at all. It got really cold out one night (mn) and the car wouldn't start the next morning and thats when I replaced the battery and it still wouldn't start so thats when I replaced the wires plugs cap and rotor, and like I said now I have no spark. I Have heard that the pick up coil could be bad or it could be the main distubrator, or both, I don't know what to do.

Hey frdgt, since you mention that it got really cold, try taking the distributor cap off and turn the engine to check if the distributor rotates, if it does not, then you probably have a broken or stripped timing belt and if it does there are several things to check: ignition control module, pcm relay and link fuses in the main fuse box.
