really in Need of help

I have a 1996 ford mustang V6 and the heater core is gone out on it and I was trying to see where it was located on the car to fix it . Please help it is hot down here

Get yourself a good manual, They are a must for people that do their on repairs. good luck

i think its in the radiator...or thats where mine was when i had it replaced in my 1966 pontiac

Should be in the firewall on the passenger side. Follow the heater hoses to where they disappear into the firewall, and you'll roughly know. Definitly get a manual for this or some kind of procedure. IF your in a bind, need to drive it and don't need heat, you can cut and splice the two lines together to bypass the heater core. Just becareful that the two lines are standard bulk hose for when you do replace the core. Sometimetime they are special dealer only lines that can get expensive and/or make more work that you wished for.
