I have 1966 ford mustang coupe it started to give me problems. Every time I try to turn on the car the starter stays stuck. Recently I changed out the cellunoid, the starter, the alternator, the battery. When ever I start the car I have to disconnet the battery because it will stay cranking or running. When I go to connect the terminals it gives a shock on both ends like if ihave a short somewhere. What could it be?

You still have either a bad starter or a bad solonoid. Hopefully they are not Zone parts as you need good quality parts for your vintage car.

Make sure the little wires on the solonoid are on correctly I and S

Disconnect the small wire with an S and jump across to the + terminal on the solonoid with the key on. If it still does it be ready to tap the solonoid. If that doesn't do it replace the starter.
