Air conditioning problem

2001 3.8L Ford Mustang. 84,000 miles. I turn on my a/c and it works, then the next day I turn on my a/c and the air didn't come out of the front vents, instead it comes out of the defrost vents only. I listened to the compressor and it seemed to be working, any suggestions?

Check for vacuum leaks under the hood this is what controls your vents switching mechanism so get a spray bottle of starting fluid and spray it around near vacuum hoses under the hood that should be it :D
