Hey guys quick question here. I have a 95 3.8L Ford Mustang. Recently out of the blue my A/C stopped working. One day it worked the next it didn't. In fact no matter what setting I put the dial on air will not come out of vents. However, when I turn the nob to A/C cold air comes out of the defrost or heat if I turn the nob to heater. Even when I switched the nob to just vent it still comes out of the defrost almost as if vents are clogged. I have already checked all the fuses and they're fine. Why is all the air being detoured to the defrost vent, instead of the face vents. If the blower motor is dead what does one of those usually run? Thanks

Does the heater motor run at all? It could be a bad heater control switch, check the connections on the back of the heater controls.

I was going to say, as far as I know, those things are vacuum actuated, and it sounds like it's not being vacuumly(?) actuated. That's where I'd start.
