When standing behind this car when it is idling, you can hear a popping sound out of the driver side exhaust pipe, it is not present on passenger side.
scan tool shows nothing wrong, is the noise common? Or should I look at valves and springs?
the car has 247300 kilometers on it, not driven alot.
any idea where I should start looking?

2 different mechanics checked this car completly, and both have no idea, the o2 sensor on bank is abit weak, but they claim nothing to worry about, exhaust was removed from cats back, still popped, removed cats, still popped, scan comes back clean, with exception of heat temp sensor bad, changed it, put new thermastat in, same thing, still pops, they thought maybe exhaust gases were igniting in the chamber, causing the pop, but they are positive this isnt the case anymore, they both think maybe a sticky valve, but with no oil loss, and no smoke, they are not sure, they think a weak spring, but both agree a spring being weak, wopuld not cause it, they are stumped, an it was 2 different ford dealers, do you have any idea or can you point me in a direction, as I dont want to start hauling the engine apart if I dont have too
