My cooling fan is not turning on when it reaches the right tempature. I checked the to see if any voltage was coming out of the plug-in connecting to the cooling fan while it was above normal tempature and there where no voltage. I'm not sure if I checked the voltage right. So I don't know if its my fan or some other electrical problem.

Hello, if u wanna see if your fan runs do this>>turn on the air conditioner and the fan will start. If it does not start your fan motor is bad.U can also remove it and test it outside with some wires from batt to fan. Its simple to remove.U dont need to buy the whole thing with blades n such just the motor witch comes off of the assembly with a couple of screws. If u wanna save money go to a junkyard like ecology etc. Any self serve junkyard with ur own tools. Fan motor that will work comes not only from mustangs, u can get one from a 95 mustang 5.0 96 4.6 94 continental v6 3.8 mercury sable v6 3.0 and more just look at ur old one and look around u will find one for sure. Unless u get a new one witch runs round 75 and up. Good luck
