I have a small leak at the thermostat housing somewhere because coolant gets puddled up on the manifold. It's a small leak. I used the provided gasket and the liquid gasket together and it still leaks but not as much. I've cleaned both surfaces as best as I could and it still leaks. Any suggestions before I take it to a shop?

Need to do a pressure check to be sure of where the origins of the leak
Check hose clamps and intake bolts
I have seen also cracked thermostat housing
Good luck

The thermostat housing is new because I broke the other one when I overtightened the bolts. The clamps are new also. Do I need to tighten the bolts again to make sure that they didn't back out? I'm not trying to break another thermostat housing.

That's exactly what I ve seen
need to make sure that the thermostat is sitting inside the grooved area
and tighten equally between the bolts
if thermostat slide out it designated area will cause a leak and in some cases will brake the housing
good luck
