1992 Ford Mustang 1992 injectors not working

would a bad pick up coil keep injectors from dumping fuel? We've tried so much and don't want to buy something that won't fix it. Please help!!

No power at injectors? Check the injector fuse, but a bad pick up can cause it. If you dont hear the pump, test the pump like this.

Grouind the FP and see if the pump runs...

My husband put a wire tester to the injector wires and "shorted" them and they sprayed. We do have fuel pressure to the rail. does is still sound like a bad pick up coil? Thanks.

If the pickup is bad you will not have spark at the plugs, do you? Did he test the pump as I outlined?

At this point, the pump works, you have pressure in the rail, you have spark, is the compression ok? If yes OHM out the injector harness, you may have some wiring problem...

Do this and count the flashes...Count the flashes, a 22 will flash as 2 flashes then a short pause, then 2 flashes, if more than one code is stored, the pause will be longer. The codes will display three times and end with 11 or 111. Write them down and post here. First do this with the ke on engine off, then again with it running.

Thanks for your help. Ended up being a bad computer. My husband has worked on a lot of cars but never saw one go bad until now. Again, thanks.
