1982 Ford Fairmont Ford Fairmont frame question

I am curently trying to repair a 1982 ford fairmont futura sports coupe with the 2.3L. I want to put a 289 or a 351c V8 in it. Do I need to modify the frame to handle the 289 or the 351c? The car was totaled but is being repaired.

No need to modify anything, just get teh right mounts for the V-8 instead of a 4 cyl You will need to make sure you have 5 lug axle as well as front wheel hubs though as the V-8 had heavier duty wheels. And brakes and axles.
