1984 Ford F350 V8 Two Wheel Drive Manual 91K miles

HAVE 6.9 FORD ENGINE VERY HARD TO START AFTER SITTING FOR THREE OR FOUR HOURS ONCE AT STARTS IT WILLRUN GOOD AND START ALL DAY NO PROBLEM I HAVE REPLACED MANUAL FUEL PUMP GLOW PLUGS GLOWPLUG RELAY AND SENSOR ALL FUEL RETURN LINES ENGINE SMOKES BAD WHILE CRANKING BUT QUITS AFTER 30 SECONDS AFTER IT STARTS WOULD MY INJECTION PUMP BE BAD?ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED THANK YOU

More likely an injector problem. If there is a diesel shop in your area, they will be able to test the injector pump for you to be sure it is in spec. Does it run rough when it finally does start?

Thank you for the info. But found out all 8 new glow plugs that were instaled were bad got problem fixed
