2002 Ford F250 front hub assembly
Drive Train Axles Bearings problem

how do you take out the front hub assembly. I have removed all the bolts for the brake assembly and the four bolts for the assembly and removed the rotor. Is there something else holding the assembly in there?

once the rotor is removed, loosen each retainer screw one to two turns. to reach them, first gently pry on the hub lock cap edge to release the gasket adhesion. now remove and discard retainer screws. while lifting/jiggling the axle U-joint, pull or pry the hub lock from the wheel hub.remove the axle shaft snap ring. disconnect ABS sensor (if equipped). now you can remove the 4 lock nuts holding the hub and bearing on so that it can slip off (no puller needed).
