How is the fuel pump attached to the bottom of the tank? I have dropped the tank, I have removed the plastic locking cap, but I can not figure out how the pump is attached to the bottom of the tank.

On the pumps I've worked on, it isn't attached to the bottom of the tank? It's hard for me to see the problem without looking at it. Sometimes you do have to wiggle the pump around gently to work it out of the tank.

It is connected to the bottom of the tank there are 2 locking tabs that need to be pusged in so you have to put your hands right in the tank they are white plastic that go to a metal brace
