1990 Ford F-250 Fuel

If I hit the gas pedal to quickly there is a hesitation. Sometimes the truck stops and I have to restart. Have changed to fuel filter no difference. It will happen either when I first start or leaving a signal? Has new air filter. Thought about new ignition wires and rotor. Just not sure. Thank you for any information.

Check the throttle position sensor/MAP sensor-might want to check the fuel pressure if its within specs. Won't hurt if you give it a minor tune-up
