Electrical problem
1975 Ford F250 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I tried to clean up the wire mess from the last guy and made it worse. I can start truck with key but it does not get to proper ignition location with key is prematurley starting and the starter stays engaged. I think the wiring was just rigged, the color coding is not OEM, what wires go where from starter relay? Relay on fenderwall, 4 post two large two small, 1975 Ford F250, 460 Camper Special If proper ignition was a clock, 3 O'clock would be correct, now it starts at 1 O'clock and starter remains engaged, 12 O'clock ignition off key removes.

Disconnect the 2 small wires on the starter relay now hold key to start position check for power on the wire-the one that has power goes to the S terminal and the other to the I terminal which is the ignition bypass applying full battery voltage during cranking-Its probably reversed-If it continues replace the ignition switch
