I keep losing oil pressure?

I keep losing oil pressure at startup on cold days I can rev the truck to around 2500 rpm and the oil pressure will come up if I let off the rpm the oil pressure will drop out, it will do this in till the engine worms up after it worms up it is fine I have changed the oil pump and it still does it I am getting ready to change the oil pressure switch but I cant see it acting up from being cold.

Oil pressure can be impacted if the engine is low on oil. So be sure to verify the oil level
You need to check the oil pressure using a test gauge, that way you will know for sure if you have a faulty sensor or something else that might be causing the issue.
Oil pressure testers are typically available at your local auto parts store to rent.
In order the test the pressure you will have to install the tester on the oil pressure sensor port.
You should have 20-45 PSI of oil pressure at 1500 RPM while the engine is at operating temperature.
