light stay on and don't know how to turn it off

OK you will need to call around to you local parts store and find one that will do a free scan and have it scanned get the code or codes (write them down) then have them clear the codes this will turn the light off and the only way you can turn it off. Now if you would get back to me via private message and get me the code or code numbers they will me a P then 4 numbers.
