Your fuel pump is a possibility. First you need to check your fuel pressure. If you engine is a 4.6 litre than your fuel pressure should be between 30 - 45 psi, if it is a 5.4 than it should be 28 - 45 psi.
Check the fuel pressure and let me know what you find.

To find out if its the fuel pump you have to perform a fuel pressure check using a guage designed for your fuel system. BTW when you turn the key to run do you hear the fuel pump come on?
